Pukekohe Winners of Cricket Tournament

HIstory was made at Bledisloe Park where the Pukekohe Indian Sports Club (PISC) were crowned winners of the 2021 NZISA Cricket Tournament which was held at Bledisloe Park on Sunday 3rd to Monday 4th January. It was the first time a PISC cricket team has won a NZISA cricket tournament, a proud club achievement.

Games were played in great spirit by all teams that participated. On Day 1 PISC won both their games. With the second game being won on a predicted run-rate, where the game was later called off due to bad weather. This put the team straight into the finals on Day 2. The final was a nail biter until the very last over where PISC managed to hold out last years winners BOPISC to claim a well deserved victory.
